The Indian Revolution begins.

Its the 5th of April 2011.
Anna Hazare sits on a fast today to introduce lokpal bill.
Its the begining of something which would change the shape of the entire world. Mark my words. It seems a little something happening in a few cities of India, but if you look at the bigger picture, its the sign the entire world would get affected by.
Facts:
1. Baba Ramdev is one person whom this generation knows as a yoga guru. Its also very clear that none of the other gurus has had such a mass appeal neither has anyone seen such a meteoric rise. And his ambitions are well known. Bharat Swabhiman is the name of the party which is being launched by him so as to go all the way.
2. Bharat Swabhiman is on the lookout for people in all walks of life who have had clean shirts always.
3. Anna Hazare's fast today brings in people like Sri Sri Ravishankar, Kiran Bedi, Baba Ramdev, Santosh Hegde(Former Justic of SC, Former Soliciter General of India), Swami Agnivesh on a single platform. (I am still searching for more names)
4. Most of these people have followers in completely different stratas of the society. Or, rather they appeal to different kinds of people. Thus, people know.
5. Most of these people mentioned above have always had a 'my way or the highway' approach on different issues. That is, that they stick to an issue and get it done come what may. Theres a very slim chance that you'd be able to change their perception, or bend them in any way.

What it means:
Such people coming together does seem good. I am not saying that these would be the ones who would be part of Bharat Swabhiman. But, it seems good because we have always wanted a stricter enforcement of laws, of systems. We've always wanted a corruption free society with educated people without poverty etc.(blah blah). And it seems that these can deliver.
And the Congress and BJPs of today donot take them as a power. But they fail to see that people are beggining to get frustrated. Infact, even the general public's opinion is that such a combination would fail miserably. But think about it honestly. Would you not vote for Kiran Bedi?
I seriously believe, a few years from now, Bharat Swabhiman would be big, if it picks up the pace in the next year to come. Not the next GE, maybe not the one after that. But 10 years from now, these are the people/group of people who would be changing the face of the nation.

The other side:
Why do I feel it would change the entire game? Because its long long overdue.A revolution in India, with the enforcers being strict. People required a change from Congress, they brought in BJP. It was the same with a different name.Less enforcement, more talking.People want a stricter rule. China to many is what is looked upto, even if it means violation of human rights. You hear it on the streets when theres a talk about corruption: "Inko to khatam kar dena chahiye.""Inko to kadi sazaa honi chahiye." ("These guys should be hanged""They should be given the harshest of the punishments".
And these are the people who I believe would get you what you want. BUT. It does not end here. Its not all happy happy. When such power is given (rather taken) by few men, you and I are not even allowed to talk about it. Remember Germany 1925-28? Similar ambitions. Similar popularity and rise. Similar propaganda(yet to be). There is not yet any talk on religion, but there surely is loads on Bhartiyata and us being superior.

India stands at a crucial juncture. Its good. Its great. Theres also a flip side, which has a very high probability. Read the signs.

The diary entry (public)

I guess only Howard could've done that in the way no one else could. Its the 25th tomorrow.
And then that(THAT) surely isn't sudden. It surely is gradual; though still hasn't sunk in. Much like the beer in hand right now. Most would fail to understand ; few would do. The realization.
The unanswered questions remain.
Always writing Fuckwaas,
Ankit Pandey.
